This unique Integral Yoga® program trains Yoga teachers and health-care professionals to adapt the full spectrum of Yoga teachings for new places and audiences, including corporate, health-care and many other professional environments. The training will give you the essential skills and confidence to bring Yoga into any setting.

I’ve taken a number of specialized Yoga Trainings. The one training that permeates all of my classes is Integral Yoga Stress Management Teacher Training. I use these Yoga techniques in a hospital center for various populations including cardiac rehabilitation, weight management, MS patients and those with Pulmonary Fibrosis. The common thread I’ve noticed in people’s physical and mental challenges is stress, either as precursor or as a result of the illness. Intercepting the stress response often gives immediate and dramatic results, and it’s profoundly empowering. This training is a great investment.
J. Jennings, Chesapeake, VA

What Integral Yoga Stress Management graduates are saying:

Integral Yoga Stress Management Teacher Training was one of the best programs I have ever attended. Everything was covered, from a deep understanding of stress and Yoga stress management, to teaching many different groups of people. It included how to modify poses for people with special needs, how to structure classes, and even how to effectively market your new-found skills. The written manual for this program was superb. I continue to use it often.
D. Thompson, Washington D.C.

For 12 years I have taught Yoga nationally and internationally. I teach in diverse settings that include yoga centers, dance studios, spas, universities, and a halfway house for abused women. I have 7 Yoga teaching certifications. IYI Stress Management Training is the backbone of everything I teach because it takes yoga off the mat and into people’s lives. I can give people a prescription to reduce the negative effects of stress. It’s a wonderful road-map to the refuge of a calm mind, and a relaxed, awakened body. I’ve also written a book called Yoga In-flight that is based on Stress Management
. M. Heron, New York

Having this training on my resume was instrumental in my being hired as a family therapist working with at-risk youth. I also offer weekly Yoga classes to my fellow therapists at our offices in Lynchburg and Roanoke. This training allows you to offer the benefits of Yoga to the broadest spectrum of people with language they can understand and relate to.
S. Evans – Forest, VA

I’ve taught Yoga Stress Management to students, staff, and faculty at two schools of nursing in Tucson AZ. The nursing students use these methods to cope with anxiety taking exams. I was recently asked by the assistant Dean to offer chair yoga at the opening of an annual conference. The attendees enjoyed it so much I was asked to offer another class on the last day. I enjoy the opportunity to serve this population.
A. Alford, AZ

Since graduating from SMTT, I’ve taught workshops at IBM, Martha Stewart Omnimedia, Guild Care, and the Jewish Guild for the Blind. 65 people attended a program at the Westchester Teachers Association and they loved it! The script that was provided is golden. There is a testimonials page on my website that includes a small sampling from the hundreds who have attended my seminars.
J. Meyer, New York City

I am presently teaching Yoga lunchtime classes at two government agencies in Wellington, New Zealand. In every class I include ways to do Yoga at their desks, at the bus stop, walking, etc. The information in the Stress Management teacher training on the scientific studies was very helpful. People like to hear the facts and proofs that this approach works.
